Frying is the immersion of food in oil or fat medium, which is then heated until cooked properly under varying conditions based on the type of food. It utilizes the fat medium for the conduction and convection of heat towards the food. Food that is cooked by heating through high-temperature fats is known as fried food.

Stir-Frying: In stir-frying, a wok having high-sloping sides is used with a broad (a curved spatula). A few tablespoons of oil along with the dry seasonings and uncooked food are added in the wok. The wok is heated with high temperatures. The food is mixed with a stirrer rapidly so that it cooks properly and does not adhere to the surface of the wok.

Sautéing: Sautéing is a similar process like stir-frying as it also involves a little amount of oil to cook the food. The comparison pops up when it comes to the point of heating, as sautéing involves medium heat to cook while stir-frying requires extreme heat.

  • Pour the olive oil in the saucepan and add garlic to it. Cook it until it gets soften while preventing it from getting brown.
  • Add honey, soy sauce, and black pepper in the fried garlic and continue to cook it on a medium flame for 5-10 minutes.
  • Set it aside and let it cool for 15-20 minutes.
  • Take a separate bowl. Add the eggs and cold water into it and whisk them slightly.
  • Prepare the coating mixture by adding the powdered ginger, cayenne pepper salt, and ground black pepper into the flour.
  • Wash and dry the wings. Dip them into the egg wash and then into the coating mixture.
  • Pour the vegetable oil in the deep fryer and then preheat it by 350 degrees F.
  • Fry the wings for about 15-20 min until they get a golden-brown color and a crispy top.
  • Dip the wings into the honey garlic sauce and garnish it according to your choice.
